Road Marking Paints

Road Marking Paints

Road Marking Paints is a traffic-marking range built around Indian highway practice, covering hot-applied reflective thermoplastic for permanent markings and cold-applied liquid paints for maintenance, parking and utility striping. The system is intended for lane lines, edge lines, stop bars, arrows, zebra crossings and industrial circulation markings, with India-first grades aligned to IRC:35 and MoRTH Clause 803 style requirements.

Application & Build

Permanent lane lines, edge markings, arrows and crossings are typically executed in thermoplastic at about 2.0-2.5 mm build, heated to roughly 180-200 C and finished with reflectorising glass beads. Liquid grades are used where lower-build, quick maintenance or parking / plant striping is preferred.

Typical Coverage & Drying

Thermoplastic consumption is commonly around 4.0-4.5 kg/m2 at 2.0 mm thickness and 5.0-5.5 kg/m2 at 2.5 mm thickness, with traffic-worthy set in about 15 minutes under standard application conditions.

Packings Available

Thermoplastic grades are commonly packed in 25 kg PE / HDPE bags, with some project packs supplied at 30 kg. Cold-applied line-marking paints are typically planned in 20 L and 4 L pails for maintenance and parking-area work.
